He’s religious
This is something commonly hated by the left. They hate to hear ideas that clash with theirs. They’re often uncomfortable with the notion of god, and others who believe in him. Thus, the fact that he’s catholic makes them highly uncomfy.
He doesn’t succumb to their ideas
Ron DeSantis is a strong individual, and strong in his beliefs. He hasn’t been swayed to their ideas, and doesn’t cater to their wishes. This makes him a huge threat to their ideals and whims.
He’s shown time and again that he will keep paving his own path with the moves he’s made within the state of Florida. He simply doesn’t bow down to the woke mob.
He made the classroom safer for young children
This is probably his biggest mishap in the eyes of the woke left. As DeSantis made it so that in the state of Florida, young children can’t be force fed woke agendas about trans, and the LGBTQ.
A giant move indeed in a society that wants to brainwash children while they’re still young so that they can’t possibly grow their own mindset and beliefs. Forget allowing the parents to have any say, they absolutely don’t care if parents don’t want their own children exposed to such nonsense.
This is a huge step in the right direction on DeSantis’s part, hopefully paving the way for other states to follow in the future.
DeSantis is a white, religious male with his own mind
He basically represents everything the left loves to hate. Not only does he respect god, and try to make things safer for believers in god, but he’s male, and white. He doesn’t falter in front of them, or plead his case, he is who he is, and he’s strong.
Not only is he what they dislike the very most, but he also turned Florida red, and continues to push forward with causing positive change.
Conclusion
Basically, he makes the woke left upset. He doesn’t listen to them, he keeps doing what he wants. And we all know how uncomfortable the left gets when they can’t control something or in this case, someone. DeSantis is a great example of how to piss off the woke left royally.
