Part 2: Why Keep It Secret?
Why does the Military-Industrial Complex hide from us and the world the reality of UFOs/UAPs and non-human intelligences? They are holding back technology that would revolutionize the world. They are keeping secret the fact that we are not alone in the Universe. This is something that all humans have a genuine “need-to-know.” There are several reasons for this darkest of American conspiracies. I will attempt to outline a few, as the depths tell quite a different story than the surface.
The genesis of the UFO cover-up goes back to the Cold War era. The aftermath of WWII led the United States into a decades long standoff against the Soviet Union. They repeatedly struggled to one-up each other, leading to some pretty insane programs with insane consequences. The Cold War rabbit hole knows no bottom, from Project Stargate to Operation High jump to MK Ultra, the US engaged in some pretty esoteric and sometimes horrific activities.
The idea that the public could not handle disclosure of alien life made sense at the time. Engaging in a cold war that threatened to bring about the apocalypse, these entities within the Military-Industrial Complex believed the public would immediately lose their minds, as their concept of reality was ripped painfully away, leading to mass hysteria and the total breakdown of society. This is the most common reason we think of when it comes to the secrecy about UFOs. The most notorious historical example of an “alien induced mass hysteria” was triggered by the radio airing of H.G. Wells’ “War of the Worlds” leading some to go so far as committing suicide because they believed it was a real alien invasion. If there really was an active invasion there would be cause for concern obviously, but protecting the citizenry from collective ontological shock is not the main reason for the cover-up. It is a contributing factor to the slow leak of data crumbs however. Soft disclosure seems to be the name of the game. They are slowly pushing the Overton window to acclimate us to accepting that the world is not what we’ve been told. If humanity suddenly became aware that there are other intelligent civilizations out there- wherever they come from, be it from other planets or interdimensional- at first it could be very destabilizing, but ultimately it will be to our benefit to realize we are all humans from Earth and must set aside our differences because there are “others” out there with unknown intentions.
Ultimately there are two real reasons for the secrecy, one is the fact that they have lied about this for so long that there are a lot of people who would be in serious trouble for subverting the constitutional government and in some cases, engaging in overt criminal activity. The other reason to keep this hidden is the legitimate national security threat of another nation developing this advanced technology before us. In every instance of foreign military leadership speaking on this topic, they say the answer is here, that the U.S. knows more about this than any other country in the world, and is far more secretive than any other nation.
The Roswell Event: First UFO Crash Retrieval
The Roswell event is the most well known UFO-related incident in American history. In 1947 a “flying saucer” crashed in the New Mexico desert near Roswell. This was reported accurately at first, but was quickly covered with a story about a weather balloon. Our government did indeed acquire the first known craft of non-human origin in Roswell, and have acquired many others since then. The military turned over these craft to private military contractors to attempt reverse engineering and learning about the technology.
The UFO phenomenon has become too widespread and obvious to continue depriving the people of Earth of the undeniable fact that we have an answer now to one of the most important questions that humanity asks. Are we alone in the Universe? Is there anyone else out there? Yes, and it has been hidden from us for over half a century.
It’s time for the obfuscation and deceit to end, and to allow humanity to move forward into this still new century with a new perspective on existence. It is better to know, than not to know.
