President Trump and Representative Jackson, both conservative figures, criticized Rihanna Super Bowl halftime performance as inappropriate and insulting to America. Trump described it as an “epic fail” and accused Rihanna of insulting more than half the nation with her foul language. Jackson called her a “pop star of spewing degenerate filth” and demanded the NFL replace her as the performer.

This Isn’t Her First Time Criticizing Trump and American Values
Conservatives were also critical of Rihanna’s past comments about Trump and her refusal to perform at the 2019 Super Bowl in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick. While some fans of Rihanna celebrated her comeback performance, conservatives saw it as inappropriate and divisive, and called for the NFL to replace her with a more conservative artist, like Chris Stapleton.
