The push for all things dark and “satanic” to represent contemporary culture, even as the Left and popular culture do their best to mock, demean, and marginalize Christian or traditional beliefs and values, is making its presence faster than you can say “lightning strike.”
Sunday night’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles was a prime example.
During the show, Sam Smith, who describes himself as non-binary, performed the 2022 hit song ‘Unholy’ with transgender singer Kim Petras complete with BDSM red leather suits, flames, cartoonish devil horns, and satanic imagery in what can only be described as a bizarre need to prove their allegiance to evil.

The thing is, it wasn’t just a performance. It was a deliberate attempt to anger Christians.
Showbiz 411 reported that Smith’s source said that the singer would be “playing Satan” and that “there will be a lot of devil type stuff, devil worship, and ‘pyrotechnics like you’ve never seen.” He also “guaranteed” that it was going to make a lot of people very upset, and that there would be calls to CBS from “outraged Christians.”
Someone needs to tell these people that people of faith have seen pandering, childish rebellion, and the need to desperately prove “unholiness” since the garden of Eden.
At the end of the song, in the blazing flames of “hell,” pops the promotional statement “Pfizer presents the 2023 Grammys,” a very fitting piece of symbolism.
Evil always has a need to reveal itself, and, in the end, it’s all interconnected.
Remember how the Left sort of pulled back from Balenciaga when the pedo photo shoot came out?
Well, not really.
As the @TheRowdyPodcast put it, “The worst part of the song is when Kim talks about wanting a child molesting man aka “Balenciaga Daddy.” Of course they don’t give a fuck. They have literally been saying it.”
To be clear… this should NOT be a surprise.

And just in case the show didn’t make their “unholy” statement clear enough, they won the Grammy as well. As if anyone in the room didn’t know that was going to happen.

The New York Post raved that they were “trans-cending” all limits.
Including the limits of decency and morality, we might add. But I guess mainstream culture did away with those a long time ago.

They need to get rid of these “award” shows. They are no longer handing out awards for great movies and best acting. Rather, they are worshipping Satan which is not surprising considering their past history on the House of Un-American Activities in the ’50s. They have no morals nor respect for any Christians working in that industry either. It is time Christians stand up for their rights and find a way to abolish these award shows.
I hear you. But its a free speech issue. They have a right to “worship” whatever they want. I think Christians and people with traditional values need to work on building a counter-culture with entertainment that is clean but still interesting and enjoyable. The movement has begun, but its nowhere near where it should be.
You have a solid point there, Rachel. I 100% agree Christians should be able to work on combining culture with clean entertainment and enjoy. Older traditions should at least get out and have fun rather than demanding to have everything blocked in site.
