As President Joe Biden’s classified documents have been discovered in his garage earlier this month which have been in there since his two term Vice Presidential position from 2008-2016, the same issue is happening to former Vice President Mike Pence at his home in Indiana.
According to Jill Colvin, writer for the AP, she said “The revelation came as the Department of Justice was already investigating the discovery of documents with classification markings in President Joe Biden’s home in Delaware and his former Washington office, as well as former President Donald Trump’s Florida estate. Democrat Biden has indicated he will seek reelection, and Republican Pence has been exploring a possible 2024 presidential campaign that would put him direct competition against his former boss.”
Pence claimed to be “unaware of the existence of sensitive or classified documents at his personal residence” until a search last week and “understands the high importance of protecting sensitive and classified information and stands ready and willing to cooperate fully with the National Archives and any appropriate inquiry.”
How and why do we have two former Vice President’s from two different political parties hanging onto classified information that should have been investigated and worked on during their terms and not one thing has been done about it until now?
Why are they claiming to not know the information given to them was sensitive and why hold onto it if they aren’t going to work on these documents? How much dirt has been dug up on Biden and Pence? What are the dire consequences for holding onto such sensitive information after their terms were finished?
There are too many questions needing to be answered but, in this day and age, the government will do anything in their power to make sure “We the People” do not find out what those documents contain.
Mike Pompeo agreed that no one should have any access to private information at all especially at their place of living. It is time these government officials stop lying to the people of the United States and get our country back on track as soon as possible. Both parties need to work together and find a common ground to be united, not divided.
